I have been looking for information about my paternal grandparents. Marjory returned to Scotland after immigrating to NZ with her husband Allan Stanley after he was accidently killed. Marjory is buried in the Alyth/Blairgowrie cemetery. She died in 1982 aged 76 years. I have recently travelled to Alyth and discovered her sister, Annie had a shoe shop in Alyth until the early 1950s. Can anyone help with more information?

red mail Family History Information
Looking for information on David Findlay, Coal Merchant of Alyth. He was married to Bridget McLoughlin (unsure of correct spelling). They had several children: James, John, David, Charles, Ann, Alexina. Only Alexina, now 98 is still alive. DavidFindlay was apparently abandoned on the door step of an Alyth family. He had a successful coal merchant's business in the area and is buried in Alyth cemetary in an unmarked grave, but location of it is known. His daughters Ann and Alexina were bothmarried. Ann married John Strichen, son of George and Mary (Prosser), and settled in Dundee. Alexina (known to the family as Eck) married Robert Taylor (family details unknown) and settled in Kennoway, Fife. Any information would be gratefuly received. Thank you
