Thomas - Cabinet Makers
Looking for info about my maternal great grandmothers family, she was Annie Thomas, (born Tenby 1876, married John William Johns in 1900, died Carmarthen 1941), one of 9 children, parents Joseph & Mary Ann (nee Brown), Joseph was the son of Joseph & Elizabeth (nee Eynon). Both Josephs were cabinet makers as were several of Annie's brothers. The family had a business for over 50 years at Exeter House,Frog Street Tenby, found in trade directories from 1850 to 1907, although by the early 1900's they were listed as furniture dealers not cabinet makers. Annie's youngest brother Sidney Walter Thomas was not a cabinet maker but shows on the 1911 census as a Tobacconist at Tower House Stores, Church Street, Tenby. Do these places still exist or are there any old photos? Are there any relatives still living in Tenby ?
