Trying to trace Robert Tomb's parents details.His father was William Tombs, who was a Carpenter in the Wheatley area, Oxon. Robert was born 1816, Wheatley and died approx 1895, probably in the same area. Robert married Sarah who died 1872 and then he married Jane Cudd 1873. I am still trying to find Sarah's maiden name and date/place she married Robert. Thanks, Vicky

Robert Gomm DOB 1806 approx, OXON, married Martha (Born Frilford Berks). I don't have any details of Martha's maiden name and when/where he married her. Any help please? They had 9 chilren to my knowledge between 1828 and 1845.Henry my GGranfather the eldest then Richard, Frank, Jane, James, John, Daniel, Martha,and Edward.

Looking for Richard Cornish and wife Lydia Richard born 1791 Oxfordshire I believe Lydia outside of county had four children Philip, James, Robert and Jesse. Also Sarah and Rebecca possibly out of wedlock. Any help on christening, marriage or death of Richard, I have Lydia`s death certificate 1858.

Richard LAMBERT born 1808 in Wheatley (baptism probably entered wrongly as William), father was William, a stonemason, mother Ann. Some confusion by parish clerk on whether William was Lambert or Lamburn. Does anyone have information that would help with ancestry beyond Richard? I have details of Richard's descendants which may help anyone researching this family.

In 1808 the main house was built for the BISCOE family, and at that time it was known as HOLTON PARK. By 1910 the estate had been sold, went through various owners before becoming Wheatley School. Do you have any info on the house and/or grounds during the 19th century?
