Looking for info on RoseAnna Sweatman parents. They were Job Sweatman (Swetman) and Mercy or Mary Tompkins (Thompson)? They were married in Swalcliffe in 1791. Would like to find parents of Job and Mercy and also siblings of RoseAnna.
red mail George Phipps
I am trying to find out any details about George Phipps who was recorded as being a cordwainer in Swalcliffe parish records in 1832 at the christening of his son Edward. Also his wife Charlotte who was according to the 1941 census born in Sibford Gower c1806 and was by that time a widow. Any information on both George and Charlotte's ancestors would be most appreciated - especially Charlotte's surname and the date of their wedding.
Padbury
I come down from an Alice Padbury who was born circa 1642 and married at Swalcliffe to a William Godson. The couple then lived and raised a family in Brailes, Warwickshire where the Godson family came from. I assume Alice was connected to Swalcliffe, or somewhere close by. I would welcome contact from anyone who has done research into the Padbury family in this area.

red mail John Cross (b Circa 1753?)
My gggg grandfather John Cross was born in Swalcliffe, and married Jane Dean 22 May 1785 in Shutford. They had 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls, the eldest of which (William Cross, 1785-1870) was my ggg grandfather. Three of the children died in infancy. Would be interested in exchanging information in any other of John's descendants. (See the town of Shutford for more information.)
red mail Sibford- Ferris And Gower And Burdrop Oxf
I am interested in ALL families who lived in the parish of Swalciffe, including Sibford Gower, Sibford Ferris and Burdrop prior to 1881, though I am mostly concentrating on the period 1600 -1700 for families for a village study. My own family ENOCK were there from 1523 and were C of E. Another ENOCK branch came from RADWAY in WAR and were Staunch Quakers in the village. I am also reasearching any family connected with the PLUSH trade.
