My ancestors originate from Launton according to my research of the censuses. the last census of 1811 shows an Elizabeth born in Launton age 64 so her birth would be around 1776. unfortunately her husband must have dies as his name does not appear on the census so I am stuck! they had children John 1811, William 1814 m Harriet b1817, James 1816 - 1859 m Elizabeth 1817 nee Kimber from Garsington m1846 (this is my line). Susanna 1819. all born in Launton. I would like to find more information and would welcome any help with how to research. I am planning a visit to Launton in August
