Please am looking for any information about Caroline Wise born 1853 Bloxham Oxfordshire. She lived or Married Thomas Boyles Born 1852 Deddington, they had six children but Thomas left home in 1891 Caroline and children were in Reading workhouse where Kate was born. 1901 she called herself Carrie, was a housekeeper in Birmingham. Think she died in 1930 Birmingham North. As anyone got the parish records to check the death. Her father was John Wise farmer her eldest son Thomas Wise Boyles called himself Tom Wise. William Reynolds c1770ish
Hi, can anyone help trace more information on William Reynolds. He married Grace Margaret Meades in 1793 in Bloxham. They had 3 children that I know of: John (or Jehu)b 1796, Sarah b1803 and Jehoiada b1805 all in Bloxham. It would appear that they may have belonged to a dissenters church/chapel. I would like to find out when William and Grace were born, who they're parents were and if they had any other children. If anyone can help I would be really grateful. Regards, Emma.

Does anyone have any details on the Morrey family from Bloxham, Edmund Morrey circa 1813-1870 kept the Elephant and Castle then later the Joiners Arms in he mid nineteenth century, his wife was Ann Penn from Radway in Warwickshire. They had maybe 8 children, one of whom Catherine was my Gt Grandmother and lived in Barkston Gardens Kensington with her husband John Robinson Roberts. One daughter Emma married John Ellis and ran the Joiners Arms after her parents death, at least a couple of the others also kept pubs in London as did other members of Ann's family

I am looking for information on the Benson family of Bloxham. They lived at one stage (1871 census) at 119 White Lion Lane, and Charles the father was at that stage a horse dealer who also farmed 95 acres. The children were Maria, Betsey, Eliza (my paternal grandmother) Mary, Daniel, William, John and Charles; mother was also Eliza. Family legend suggests that there may have been a gypsy connection.

I have two interests in Bloxham. One is in the name William West, curate. One shows up on clergy list for 1833, another is in the 1841 census with four young children. He has died by the 1851 Census. I would like to know about the William West(s). The other interest is in the two Bowler boys, Cyril and Jack who drowned there in 1917. They may have attended the school there.

HELP! I find a John Waters B.May 1843 in the Parish of Bloxham, Oxfordshire, England (1851)age 9yr. with John Waters, head, age 33yr, Fanny, Wife age47, Alfred, son age 11 and Mary Ann dau., age 7. In the 1861 Census I find Fanny alone in Oxfordshire.I was told that the Watters were asked to leave England. I am trying to find out who John Waters parents were and what Fannys surname was. My greatgrandparents, William Taplin and Rose Hannah Compton Taplin migrated to the USA in 1880. His parents John and Hannah Tuckey Taplin had a large family and lived in what was called the Barracks. John died 16 Oct 1889 and Hannah died 3 Dec 1904 both are buried at St. Mary in Bloxham. There several generations of the family buried at Bloxham with no headstones but are listed in the burial records. John and Hannah had at least 14 children, 8 of them sons. I would like to make contact with any of the family.
