Looking for Peter Coyne
I am looking for information on Peter COYNE, who emigrated to Canada from Ireland, it is believed County Offaly, in the late 1840's. After he arrived in Canada he bought land and had a family, and there is a lot of information, but I can find nothing before that. He was born in about 1826, and was a Protestant. His father's name may have been John. I live in Canada, and have been unable to find out any more from here. I understand many Irish records were destroyed, but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
