One of Thomas & Elizabeth Frost's daughters, Victoria Alice (born c1888) was only known as Alice, and married Ernest Evans. My GGG Grandfather was John Cooper born Headon 1779, only son of John Cooper and Hannah nee Searson. (Hannah died there in 1784 and her widowed husband remarried to Hannah Rhodes and had several more children.) GGG Grandfather was a widower when he married Susannah Clay on 25 Dec 1821 in North Leverton. They had three children, Christopher, Samuel and William. His first wife's name is unknown, they had children, Elizabeth b abt 1806 (married William Worsley, their daughter Fanny b abt 1844 Marton, Lincolnshire) and Ann b abt 1811 East Retford. John Cooper died in North Leverton about August 1855. Christopher moved to Sheffield.

I am researching my Great-Grandfather William Abbott believed born Staunton between 1784-1796 with 1795-6 the more likely. He was convicted in the Derby Quarter Sessions on 19/10/1819 of 'stealing and taking away two barn fowls, value two shillings, the property of one John Baguley' and was sentenced to six months imprisonment and seven years transportation to NSW. His Certificate of Freedom was issued in 1826, and he is next heard of in Wellington NZ in the early 1840's. Can anybody help fill in the gaps?
