March 24, 1821 turned up a story about a John Falkner aged 12, who was apparently deported for 7 years, we think to Tasmania. He ended up in NZ as one of the noted pioneers in Tauranga. hello to all of you...I am trying to learn more my family - The Bradburys... I know that they lived, until about 1917 in Bennett St /Rd in Mapperley, Nottingham. Her father (my gt gt grandfather)was a gardener, who upon arriving here managed to buy a large area of land and 6 cottages for the family.
