red mail Davy family
Am looking to find any descendants of Samuel Davy formally of Shire Oaks Farm at Cuckney. When Samuel was a widower, he married my G/G/ grandmother Emily Martha Hind (nee Fowler) also a widow, in 1865. They did not have any children, but I believe Samuel had children from his first marriage, Samuel jnr, William, Thomas and maybe Eliza and Betsy. I am not sure about the females. I would love to contact any descendants, even though they are not related to me.
red mail cornelius moody
looking for ancestors of cornelius moody who married Ann Tussingham in 1793. Any help welcome
red mail evans, annable
Looking for information on Richard Evans (1799-1874), a woodman of Norton Cuckney, Notts, and his wife Sarah Lydia Annable (Hannibel), of Holbeck Woodhouse. Her father may have been Joseph Annable (1767). Their children included Edward (woodman), Ann, Richard (gamekeeper) and Henry.
red mail Keeton
Looking for Cuckney connections to John Keeton, born about 1814 in Cuckney. John married Martha (Taylor?) and had children Charles (1844) and John (1847). John's parents may have been John Keeton and Amanda Birch. I can't trace the Keetons back from this point. Any help is much appreciated.
red mail Revell
I am looking for information on John Revell born in Cuckney or Langwith in 1796 and married Ann Lowe in 1815. They had two children, Elizabeth born 1822 and John born 1819.
red mail Beeley
John and Hellena BEELEY moved to Cuckney some time in the latter quarter of the 17th Century, they had a son John BEELEY who married Mary REVELL on the 16th July 1694. Their third son, Josiah was baptised in 1698 and in September of 1720 he marriedElizabeth SISSONS at Clowne, Derbys. Thier son Josiah was born in 1736 and in 1756 he married Mary Ann LOOMES and their son Josiah was born in 1760. In September of 1790 Josiah married Mary Goucher, she died in 1791 and he then re-married Barbara (possibly ASHMORE). Josiah and Barbara had eight children and their second daughter, Ann, married John MILNER on the 19th March 1827. They subsequently moved to Worksop where John was a Master Tailor.
