red mail Renner/Dent/Armstrong&Dawson
Hi there, I'm looking for information regarding family lines in the Surnames of Renner/Dent/ Armstrong&Dawson in the New-Biggin-by-Sea area from about 1850 going back to 1800. My G.G Grandfather was John Dent who married Jane Renner in the Parish of Woodhorn on 17th May 1868. I beleve John's Parents to be John Dent (born 1817approx), who married Ellen Armstrong (also born 1817 approx) in 1838, and Jane's parents to be William Renner (born approx 1801), who married Jane Dawson (born approx 1806) on the 16th April 1826. As I understand it, these surnames and others, were those used by the local fishing community of Newbiggin at the time. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks.
