searching for Hood in Chatton, Sons or daughters of William Hood b c1756 most children baptised in Presbyterian chapel in Spittal. Also searching for relations of his son Thomas Hood b c1787 Lowick again most children baptised in Presbyterian chapel in Spittal and Lowick, some children i believed stayed in Chatton area some moved away. John was found in Beal and it says in 1871 his father was a farmer, but by this time his father had died. Also looking for Thomas Henry in the same area, his daughter Isabel or Isabella married John Hood in 1848,

Daniel McKinzie married Joan Gilmore 1780, various spellings of Mackenzie. I think the Mackenzies left Chatton about 1860, some moved to Broomhill, Bedlinton and Newcastle. Keen to contact others with Mackenzie connections.
