My Grandmother Mary Helen Jones was the daughter of Arthur Ernest Jones born at Warkworth in 1857. Her parents were Mary Ann Jones, previously Middleton and John Jones of Warkworth Hall. They are buried in Warkworth churchyard in a tombstone. John Jones father was William Jones. The 1851 census shows John Jones as 46 years, farmer of 180 acres employing 3 Labourers and being born at Lounton, Oxon. Does anyone have any further information?

My great great grandmother Sarah Ireson was born in Yarwell in 1803. Her parents were William Ireson and Ann Strickson and like many Iresons he was a stonemason. In 1827 she married Elijah Watson in Yarwell. They had 8 children in and around Yarwell. Their son William Ireson Watson was my great grandfather and I would like contact with either other descendants of our family or anyone who has a connection with the Iresons.
