kate tucker/ birth
William Tuckers son Frederick was listed as born in Kettering (This is listed on his war draft card in America. which I came across on american ancestry. April 18th 1898))It also said where he was born Kettering, northants. It gave his date of birth. Sent for birth cert. It listed the address as 77, fuller street, Kettering. This ties with the 1901 cencus. all correct. my cousins grand-mother was Kate Tucker. born 1886/7. ( Williams daughter.) William went to Buffalo, New York, in 1907.I have the 1910 and 1920 cencus now. Address that Frederick lived in 1920 ,tied in with address on war draft as place residing at when he joined up, Whitney Place. (Kate was living in Buffalo at a different address as a servant. It lists place born as England and ----bury on her marriage, but the cencus only state England) My problem is.. On the 1910 cencus William and Margaret is listed as married 19yrs. This makes their marriage as 1892 Could not be Kates mother? The name of Mary Neal (parent) is on her marriage in States. Need to know of a Kate Tucker 1886 born to William J. Tucker. Northants. I now know that William Tucker (kates father) was married in 1892 to Margaret Ferry (this was both their 2nd marriage. Margarets maiden name was Neal on Fredericks birth cert. The name of Neal was on Kates marriage. It all ties up. (her step-mother) Still not found a Kates birth in Kettering, Banbury ?? I still want to know who Kates mother was. The other children born to Williams 1st marriage (kates real brother and sisters) were, Bert Tucker 1885 approx Clara Tucker 1881 approx. Violet Tucker, 1888 approx. AND of course, our Kate 1886/7 The 1901 cencus all list Kettering. Could any-one look up their births and may-be I could get Kates mother by one of their births. Thanks,(this is an up-date to my original message) Thanks to all who originally helped me. Carol Can any-one please look up a birth for Kate Tucker and parent is William Joseph Tucker. 1886 (Possibly Banbury or Kettering) New info. Does any-one have info. on a William Joseph Tucker who married a Mary Mellia in 1879 in Prescott Lancashire. This possibly may have been Williams first wife. Thank-you Carol
