I am looking for relatives of the Waterhouse or Brittain family who lived at Stibbington in 1901. My grandfather Arthur Waterhouse was the nephew of Thomas Brittain of Barrack Row in Stibbington. Others on the census included Thomas` wife Ellen, sons Charles and John and a daughter with the initial "a".Henry Brittain, the brother of Thomas, also lived at this address.Any information about this family would be gratefully received.

I am searching for information regarding my mother Evelyn Joan Brittain, born 1922 at Elton Road Wansford. Proberly known as Joan her father was Charles Thomas Brittain and mother Sophia Ann Btittain, maiden name was Weldon. My mother had 8 siblings and attended the school at Stibbington. Charles Brittain kept horses in the village behind what is now the Paper Mills public house. The family then moved to Tollbar Cottage on the Old Leicester Road Wansford.

Leonard Smith B Holme, Hunts 1870
Leonard was the eldest son of Stephen John of Holme, Hunts. Leonard lived in Wansford with his father in the late 1920s. He was a platelayer in the railways. Can anyone connect with Leonard. Will be happy to share a history of the family.
