Pytchley House ? Dyer / Burke
Can anyone tell me anything about local landowners in 19th Century Pytchley ? It seems there was a house in this village owned by a Miss Burke c 1830 and that she died leaving £30, 000 and the house to a Henry Sumner Dyer. I do not know how much truth there is in this tale. Can anyone confirm or deny it ?
