Trying to find any connections with a William Lovett Turner my great great grandfather, who originated from Northampton. His wifes names was Annie. Annie also came from Northapton but we are unsure as to what her maiden name was-maybe Porterfield. Williams son was called Robert Edwin Turner, who married Amy Beeston who lived in Manchester. Roberts brothers and sisters were called Alice Turner, Mary Turner and Robert Turner. The family may at some time have moved to Sheffield then to Manchester. Roberts children are Hilda Turner, Francis Turner, Reginald Turner, William Turner, Robert Lovett Turner, Charles Frederick Turner and John Lovett Turner who is my grandad and Married Marion Mellor Metcalfe my grandma. We also would like to know where the ‘Lovett’ name comes from. Any information would be much appreciated.

Looking for information/descendants of William Jones and Charlotte MARGETTS nee KNIGHT who moved to Northampton from Rushden around 1856 and for around forty years lived in New Town Road, Northampton. Their children were Elizabeth born c1840, Georgeborn c1842, Charles born c1847, Ann and Emma born c1850, Samuel born 1853, Alfred born c 1856, Hannah born 1857, and Charles born c1864. William was a stonemason and he and some of his children sometimes used the surname JONES. Charlotte died in 1894 and William in 1899.

EdwardSnr. and Rebecca, Edward Ratnett, Rachel and another daughter, Emma Sarah, were all hairdressers, either in Northampton or London (and possibly Huntingdon, where Edward Ratnett died.)
