red mail Robert French
I am looking for any information conerning Robert French, who lived in Farthinghoe in 1871. He was married to Sarah Ann French (nee Taylor) and they had two children who were born in Farthinghoe, Eliza H. who was born in 1871, and George Frederick, who was born in 1874. George Frederick was my grandfather, and on his birth certificate, his father is shown as being a brewer. They had certainly moved to Birmingham by 1877, as their third child, Daisy M. was born in Birmingham. Robert French died in 1880, and his widow remarried some time later. She is shown in the 1881 Census as being a retail brewer.
