In 1841 Joseph, Elizabeth and George ARNOLD had been left in the Workhouse in Brackley by their mother Hannah. Elizabeth Arnold married Daniel Young from Evenley in 1854 and they had at least 5 children while living there. Her brother George married Sophia Paxton and they lived in Brackley before emigrating to the USA, possibly Vermont. Looking to contact any researchers.

red mail Families in Evenley
Hi, I'm intrested to know if anyone else is researching these families in Evenley/Evenly - Abbott/Abbotts, Jordan, Walton, and Ladyman? My tree begins in the 1900's in this village & so far I have managed to get them back to the 1750's/1730's with all surnames, though the Abbott/s were from Oxfordshire and settled in Evenley in the 1790's. Would love to hear from anyone with connections to any of the above.
