red mail Dainty family in Duddington
John Dainty (b.Geddington 1808) lived in Duddington from at least 1851 until 1881. The 1851 census shows 4 children and the 1861 adds another. The eldest girl is called Hannah Corbett Dainty and the eldest son George Corbett Dainty. If Sarah(b.Kettlethorpe1826) was John's first wife she would only have been 16 when Hannah was born. I am trying to trace the origin of the name Corbett in the family as it reappears 3 generations later when John's Gt. Gt. nephew is named Hugh Corbett Dainty. I have so far been unable to trace an earlier marriage for John. Does anybody know anything that might help. Regards Arthur
