Charles Taylor
My great uncle Charles Taylor (born North Walsham 1869)marrried Irena Carr (born 1868 Wilsden). They were Salvation Army Officers and went to Canada firstly in 1905. They had adopted a daughter Hilda whose father was also a Salvation Army Officer. They crossed the Atlantic several times between 1905 and 1924. Hilda was last heard of in London in 1918. Irena was last heard of in 1920 and Charles returned to England in 1924. He was a Lt Colonel in the SA by this time. Please does any one have any information about them. It would be wonderful to know what happened to them. I'd be so grateful. Thankyou

They are related to Sir Charles Scarborough. We believe the family line goes back to c. 1200 in North Walsham, Scarborough, and Ulram.
