Culley family
I am interested in the artist Lucy Mabel Culley who was born in Costessey in 1880, where her father John was a farmer. Later in life she lived in Stevenage (Hertfordshire) where she was a well-known artist, under the name "Mabel Culley". I would be interested to know more about her earlier life, and would love to contact any of her relatives. What I would REALLY like is a photo of her!
red mail Spragg
Looking for information on the parents (and any siblings) of Robert Anthony Spragg. He was born c. 1819 and later married Elizabeth Jones in St Pancras, London in 1839. His birthplace is always given as Costessey, Norfolk on census records but have not been able to find his parents (copy of his marriage cert. is v. difficult to read). Were they William and Mary Spragg who married in Norwich in 1817? Mary's maiden name was possibly Bailey and she later remarried a John Downes.
