Looking for Page family members who can trace their lineage back to Besthorpe, Attleborough and Carleton Rode in Norfolk. My 5-g grandfather Thomas Page (c. 1707-1788) was Overseer of the Poor there for many years as was his son John Page (1743-1801)my 4-gg. My Page line through James Page (1773-1870)(who Married Mary Standley (1781-1862) of Sutton) left Norfolk for Suffolk St. Elmham St. James in 1800 and became large landholder there.I am part of a PAGE DNA project looking at the lineage of various Page families and have found many "matches" with whom I share a common ancestor-probably going well back in time to Norfolk. County.
