My ggg grandfather, Robert ELDEN was christened at Aldborough in Dec 1791. Parents were Thomas ELDEN & Hannah MASON(or ELDEN). (Evidence from Family Search). Does anyone have any further information about this family please? Robert later moved to Brixton, Surrey where he was landlord of The Black Horse. He married Elizabeth BERRY in 1818.

He refused to allow the deputy Customer - Nicolas Burwell to enter the ship. Signed also by William Smythe collector,Edmund Lyster the comptroller and Robert Bishop searcher. Yarmouth 14th October.
