Robert William Urquhart was to have a distinguished career , in the British Civil Service. He was educated at Boharm Primary School , Mulben ; Keith Grammar School , Keith ; and Edinburgh University..................................................... He was awarded the OBE in 1923 , and CMG in 1944............... Robert William Urquhart was knighted in 1950.................... Sir Robert William Urquhart was appointed Chairman of the Crofters' Commission when it was set up in 1955.................... Sir Robert died at Edinburgh , in 1983.
