red mail Bennet(t) and Benjamin of Llangurig
I'm interested in finding anyone that is researching either Bennet(t)'s or Benjamina's in the Llangurig area. I'm trying to connect the two families with my Great Great Grandfather William Evans (b.1824/5) who came from Llangurig. I believe he may have been raised by his grandmother Ann Benjamin (her son was Thomas Evans b.1801/02). I believe William's mother wasan Elizabeth Bennett and that there is another Bennett connection with the Benjamin's 2 generations before. Thanks
red mail William Evans Born 1825
I'm trying to trace details of a William Evans born 1825 in Llangurig, I believe his father was Thomas Evans, a Labourer. Aged about 10, William is believed to have walked to Trefil/Tredegar to join his uncle. William went on to farm the Sion Sieffra Farm in Trefil and married Eliza Williams and have 7 children. Thanks
red mail HEAL/DENNING SOMERSET
I have just started my search on the Heal's and Denning's from Somerset. I know very little about this side of my family so my information is limited. my great grandfather was James Heal who married Sarah Ann Denning in abt 1896 in Pontypridd South Wales. The place names, Midsomer Norton, Peasedown St John and Clutton are familiar. The couple moved between Somerset and Ynysybwl in South Wales for work in the collieries, between the years 1896 and 1910, eventually settling in Ynysybwl.

George Family of "Pengarreg Farm" nr. Llangurig
I have located the remains of "Pengarreg Farm", Llangurig, home of Edward and Ann George on the 1851 Census. This seems to have been a small hill farm consisting of 10-12 acres, and has been located in 2007 between today's boundary lines of Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire on the Llangurig/Rhayader road. Has anyone any information on this George family, please?
Kinsey family of Llangurig
I have found Kinsey families in Montgomeryshire, but cannot locate the parents of John Kinsey b.1804-6 Llangurig. John, a farmer, married Jane Evans and they were found on 1841 Census living at ‘Tymain’, Llangurig with children: Anne, Thomas, Esther and Edward, as well as mother-in-law Elizabeth Evans. Their eldest son John Kinsey b.1830 Llangurig was working away from home. About 1868 John Kinsey (senior) emigrated from Wales to USA with two sons, Richard and Josiah Kinsey. Any advice on research leads would be most welcome.
