I am looking for information about Sarah Williams, born in Llanfyllin about 1816. She was married to William Milner, born in Uttoxeter about 1810, I do not yet know the date or place of marriage. They moved to Manchester sometime before 1851 where he was a chairmaker and they remained there until Sarah's death on 14 August 1869. They had 4 children, William H (b. about 1838), Elizabeth (b. about 1844), Sarah Ann (b. about 1846) and Mary Jane b. about 1850). Sarah is my 2nd great grandmother.

Michael was born in Llanfyllin on 2nd March 1934 to Sarah Maria Roberts. He was boarded out on 1st April 1937 but I don't know where to, or if his name was changed in any way. I am a cousin searching for him & would love to find him or any of his family. Michael would be 75 now but hopefully is still alive. He could be in the Wrexham, Welshpool or even Shrewsbury area. I am seeking information on the parents and wife of Thomas Davies, born in Llanfyllin in February, 1821, and emigrated to the U.S. in 1848. I believe he was married before he left Wales; his first wife, with whom he had two daughters, died and he re-married in the U.S. and had three more children.

I am looking to contact anyone with connections to the Bryan surname in Llanfyllin and the surrounding area. John Bryan married Frances Simms Dec 28 1774 in Llanfyllin. On his marriage bond he was a Taw draper, but 6 days later on his marriage he is described as a flax dresser. They went on to have 7 children, John 1775 - my direct ancestor, William 1777, Richard 1778, Charles 1780, Jane 1781 d.1781, Jane 1782 and Catherine 1785 d.1786. I have much information on John - the eldest son, but have been unable to trace any of the other children and have no information on the parents births. The parents moved to Oswestry (Croesoswallt) and died there in 1820. If anyone can help in any way it would be much appreciated.

I am looking for a marriage between a John Bryan bc 1750 Llanfyllin or area around and a Frances Sims bc1746 (I don't know where.) I have a copy of their marriage bond, know that they did marry and produce offspring, I know they moved to Oswestry where they are buried, but have no actual evidence of their marriage. Any help welcome please.

I am searching for Martha and Edwin Lloyd, they had a daughter Harriet born 1880 in Llanfyllin, she married Robert Beddow in 1902 in Walsall. Martha worked as a Domestic Servant in the Union Workhouse in about 1880.

If this is the case then father could be Daniel Lloyd MORTIMER, druggist / chemist of Carmarthen, Wales and mother Eliza WOZENCRAFT. Keen on any Carmarthen records (ie school etc)circa 1832 - 1840 which might give connection. INTERESTED IN ANY MORTIMER LINKS TO FRANCE CIRCA mid 1800's

Looking for any links to John William MORRIS born 9 Sept 1898, Llanfyllin. Father John Morris, Master Tailor, Pentre, Llanfyllin. Mother Elizabeth Jane WILLIAMS. Elizabeth Jane WILLIAMS dau of Maurice Williams b 1833 and Elizabeth GRIFFITH. In 1901 John William Morris aged 2, had sister SOPHIA E MORRIS 9 months. Living Llangynog. They also a had brother RICHARD MORRIS, not sure when he was born. John William MORRIS served in both World Wars. In 1923, an assistant smith living Gilfach Goch, John MORRIS married Violet Maud Louisa DENNING in Holy Trinity,Tylorstown, Glamorgan. John William MORRS' father also John MORRIS, was deceased at the time of the marriage IN 1897, but had been born in Llanrhaiadr Monchant in 1874 son of JOHN MORRIS and CATHERINE DAVIS.
