The Prosser family - Fothergill Terrace
I am searching for information about my grandfather William John Jones born June 30th. 1890 at 31 School Street Tir Phil. His mother was Emily (nee Prosser) and his father was William Jones, entered on my grandfathers birth certificate as a timberman in a colliery. My mother, Bessie Eileen Jones, was born at 75 Jones Street New Tredegar in 1913. She had an older sister Minnie. I have searched the census of 1891 but I can find no entry for my grandfather. The Prosser family lived on Fothergill Terrace.

Can anyone help please with the where about of Joseph Williams born Upper Slaughter Gloucestershire, called himself John. Married Elizabeth known as Lizzie Morgan nee Payne, born Croydon London. Their were three chilren William Charles Morgan. Llewellyn William Morgan and Albert Henry Williams. They lived at 80 Jones Street Tredegar untill about 1920 then moved to a small holding Jackston Farm Penallt Monmouth Wales.

I am looking for any descendants of Doreen Price who lived in Phillipstown, New Tredegar. She left at 17 to move to Malvern in 1947 where she worked at the Girls college. She married Gerald Osborne in 1953 and had 5 children,Eric, Ronald,Gwyn,Colin & Christopher. She died on 2nd February 2010 after a long illness in Malvern. What I am hoping for is to trace her family. If anyone knew her,she did have brothers Ron Gwyn and possibly one other who lived in Canada. She had a sister called Myra who moved Erdington in Birmingham. Anyone that can help please accept my thanks

I am trying to gather information about my father's side of the family they lived at 19,Powells Terrace New Tredegar from approx 1908 until 1979 that I know of.My grandmother's name was Ellen Moreton born 5thdec 1883 in Woolhope Hereford and she married Lionel Harwood born 31st may 1882 in Barton Hereford they married 5th may 1902 at Merthyr Tydfil registry office then to my knowledge had Lily born 1902 Rosa ellen 5th may 1904, Lionel Charles 28th nov 1906 Alfred William 29th june 1908 then I have a space I do not know what happened as with Jack White Harwood she had William John 1913, Margaret,Benjamin these were twins in 1916 Doreeen,Emlyn White 1922 (this is my father)died 1983 Albert,Lewis,George and I am not sure if there were more children or not.My grandmother died 6th november 1951 it said she was the widow of Jack White Harwood deceased coal hewer the address was listed as 19 powells terrace.If anyone can help me piece together the missing parts I would be grateful for any information to help me with this
