I am a decendant of Hugh Gordon. He married Ellen Trainor in June 1911 and they had 5 children, Lizzie, Monica, Daniel b1914, Bridget b1915 and Rita b1917 all born in Fermanagh Street Clones. Hugh had been married before and he and his wife, Mary, had 8 children, Hugh, Patrick, Annie, Maureen, Martha, Kathleen and Andrew. According to the 1911 census Hugh was recorded as a widower. Hugh was a tailor, as was his father Patrick, and he owned a drapers shop in Fermanagh Street called Gordons. I am sure that in those days Hugh would not have been an only child and would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this family.
