red mail John Lennon 1845
I am trying to trace my mothers family. I don't know which of the 3 Ballybays her father came from. His father was also John Lennon and his mother Mary McEnally ? . He had at least 2 siblings, James , 7 years younger and Philip probably older. The father was a farmer. John was educated at Maynooth. They were catholics and John Married Catherine Breakey from Castleblaney in the catholic Chapel at Monaghan in Nov 1880. he was working on the railway in St Helens Lancs at the time and later died 1905 as Stationmaster at Moss Bank St Helens,. His brother James came to England too lived at Moat House and supplied labour to the mines. Any help would be very much appreciated on either the Lennons or Breakeys.

looking for parents of John GAMBLE b. 1748 in Ballybay
I am a descendent of one John Gamble b. abt 1748, supposedly in Ballybay. He married Elizabeth Kennedy and had several children. The majority of the family emigrated to America in the early 1800s. I have been unable to locate John Gamble's parents and would appreciate any assistance. Also have a fair amount of information on the Gamble line here in the United States if anyone is interested. Sincerely, Jeannie
red mail John and Ellenor Marshall
Looking for information about the family of John and Ellenor Marshall who left Ballybay for Cavan Township in Ontario, Canada about 1847. I know that they had a son John (b1821) and I think that there was also a younger son James.
