I am looking for information on Mary Crow(e) born in the Musselburgh area in 1852 and who died in 1934 in Tullibody. She married William Jamieson of Tullibody.

Margaret ANDERSON, a pauper lunatic, widow of James ANDERSON, died at 5:00 a.m. on 15 August 1861 in the Campie Lane Asylum, Musselburgh. She was 63 years of age. She was the daughter of Charles HAY, shoemaker, deceased and Margaret ALEXANDER, deceased. She died from chronic diarrhea and nervous debility, 6 months, as certified by Macdonald SANDERSON who saw deceased on the 14th August. Alexander CHALMERS, occupier, was present. This record was purchased in error.

I am hoping to learn more about my GG Grandmother Euphemia Rutherford possibly born in Musselburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland. She must have emigrated to Australia as she married Peter Oag in 1862 (alt 1852) in Redfern in Sydney. They had 6 children - Isabella (1863-), William (1865-),Margaret (1868-), John Sutherland Oag (14/10/1870- 8/6/56 my G Grandfather), Elizabeth (1873-) and Euphemia (1876-).

Searching for forrest family in musselburgh. James Forrest married Mary Ann Stewart 1888 they had numerous childern born between 1889 - 1906 Samuel, James, David (my grandfather) Euphemia who married Wright, John, William, Jane or Jeannie, Joseph. Childern born in Loanhead and Bathgate where they lived. Father James died in pit accident 1906. Family lived at 9 Olive Bank in Musselburgh. Also James and Jessie Forrest lived Pinkie Road Musselburgh and Euphemia Wright Nee Forrest lived at Linkfield Rd where possbile Wright family still live today. Any help would be great to track current living members.

His son, also Joseph Bouet was an artist and exhibited in Edinburgh in 1812 and 1813. Probably Catholics. Are there any burial grounds with records in Musselburgh?

I am searching for my great grandfather's COLQUHOUN family,who lived in Mussleburgh. I have found them in the Scottish Census of 1861 His name was Adam, then aged 12. His parents names were John and Catherine. He had three younger brothers, John, James and George and a sister called Catherine. Adam apparently went to India as a young man in about 1870's. My grandfather and his brother were born in India in 1878 and 1880. I have no information on how Adam got to India, nor do I know if he returned to Scotland, as I cannot find a record of his death. I wish to hear from anyone who has information on Adam or his siblings, please
