red mail Surname; Rich, Reach, Ritch, Riche, Rych.
Jeremiah Rich married at Teddington Parrish to Ann ? 7/23/1646. are there children? Did this couple travel to the colonies? I have traced my Family name back to Jeremiah Rich (1660-1692), married to Mary/Sarah Manning (1646-1730) of Middlesex, Stepney. It is widely thought that The latter were born in the UK, but would have traveled to the colonies ( Jamestown to Richmond to Goochland, Virginia) as children (around 1660's). I think it may be possible, that Jeremiah (circa 1620's) Married Ann ???, traveled to the colonies, Married the widowed Mary/Sarah, and conceived the son Timothy I Rich (1692-1736) Any Information would be greatly appreciated, about where this Jeremiah could have come from, with so many lines of Rich from the UK, it has become mind boggling.

red mail Hatton,Slattin, Finch, Warren
Micheal Hatton (or Slattin). Described as dark featured, yet of Northern Italian ancestory. Lived in Stepney, died at sea leaving widow Amelia (nee:Warren) and two children. He was a mariner who married Amelia Warren of London (she was said to have been disinherited by family for marrying under her social status). After Micheal's death Amelia married a pub owner by name of Jeoffrey or Jeffories. Micheal and Amelia's daughter was Amelia Caroline Hatton, born 12.11.1852. They also had a son. Amelia had no more children that we know of after Micheal's death. Their daughter, Amelia Caroline married George Finch (name on marriage certificate spells Amelia's maiden name as Slattin). George and Amelia had a daughter, also Amelia in 1873? Family moved to Williamstown Victoria Australia. Young Amelia Finch married James Howarth, son of Martha Pendlebury(variations of spelling known) and James Howarth. Amelia Finch and husband George lived in South Melbourne and had 8 children.
