Looking for information on George and Hannah READER with whom, in 1871, my g-grandmother, Louisa Ann Palmer, lived as an 11 year old visitor. The three lived at 9 Cumberland. In 1871, George, age 42, had an occupation of Cowkeeper. Both George and Hannah were born in Buckinghamshire; specifically, Hannah was born in Wing. I believe Hannah to be Louisa's aunt (and Louisa's mother's stepsister), Hannah C. Stevens, born in Wing, Buckinghamshire, but am unable to confirm, thus far. Louisa's mother,Ann Hedges Palmer, died in 1863 in Buckinghamshire; her parents were Richard Hedges and Mary Ann Cutler Stevens Hedges. Mary Ann was biological mother to both Ann and Hannah.

Reuben Harrison (bapt. 23.07.1810 Portsmouth) coachbuilder of Euston Road, St. Pancras. Married Mary Ann Eveleigh at Old Church St. Pancras 09.06.1843. Their son Reuben John Harrison also coachbuilder. (Harrison & Son) Other child was Mary Ann Eveleigh Harrison who married someone called MacNab, probably in 1860s. Believe the business continued into the 1920s making car bodies for other manufacturers. Reuben Harrison the elder was my gx3 grandfather George Muir's half brother. Grateful forany info about Harrison family, their descendants and the coachbuilding business.
Henry Hardcastle Burder, born in Islington & his wife, Catherine Arnold, born in Maida Hill, were present in St. Pancras when their only daughter, Mary Jane, married Daniel Alfred Harrison in 1859. Mary Jane was born in Australia in 1840. Henry'sancestor was John Burder, about 1650. I have a 1929 hand-written Burder Pedigree to share with descendants. I have a 1921 letter written by Walter C. Burder, from Field House, Loughborough, giving some family history. Many of the Burder men wereclergymen.
