I am trying to find the family of a William Todd born around 1832. he "married frances cope" they had a daughter catherine born 1849 in somerstown. I cant find the "marriage" . This is a brick wall that has had me baffled for a very long time and I sincerely hope that someone out there may be able to help. Thy also had a son who died in infancy, he was walter laurie todd born dec 1850 best wishes jane

My 3rd Great grandfather James Robbins b about 1800 in Herts lived in Wilsted Street/Brill Place in the 1840s - 1850s may be earlier. He had 6 children. 2 died as infants but 4 reached adulthood. They were Henry, Edwin, John and Thomas. The family appeared to be painters and decorators. I am trying to trace any information on any of his brothers.

Daughter Annie Gifford born 1876 born in USA, Edward Albert , my 2nd gt grand father was born 1878 Acacia Rd Islington and Eliza Mary born 1880 Hillside Rd Tottenham. Any help would be grateful.

I'm looking for more info about Frederick HOBBS, who married Elizabeth LUCAS in the Parish of St. Anne, Westminster, Middlesex, England on Aug 3, 1835. Frederick was born in about 1814, apparently in Somers Town. Elizabeth was born approx 1815 but don't know where. They emigrated to South Australia on the Coromandel in 1837, and had several children, one of whom, Mary, was my great grandmother. I'm trying to find Frederick and Elizabeth's ancestors.

Seeking information on the above - censuses imply he was born in 1846. He married twice and both marriage certificates imply he was born in 1844 and give father's name as either Robert (accountant) or Edward (accountant). Have been unable to find birth certificate so far....

I am searching for more information on ROBERT & ELIZABETH MORLEY of Somers Town. Robert was born circa 1804, Elizabeth was born circa 1801. I have found ROBERT at Union Street, Somers Town on the 1841 census. He is listed with his children, Robert (b.c.1832), Sarah (b.c.1831), Ann (b.c.1837) and George (b.c.1838). Elizabeth and her daughter Elizabeth (b.c.1835) were away visiting Charles Morley (b.c.1811) at the time. Robert & Elizabeth had another three kids after 1841: Jane (b.c.1842), William (b.c.1844) and Thomas (b.c.1846). AT LEAST... this is what I BELIEVE!... I could be wrong, can you help firm up any of my findings? or even shoot me down in flames! All guidance/assistance gratefully received.

Any information about William Wildego gratefully received. He was born about 1820 in Great Marlow, moved to Dear's Place, Somers Town and was a bricklayer. He married Elizabeth Halloway; they had children ROSE ANN (my great grandmother),Sarh Hannah, Christopher, Elizabeth, William James. He died in Islington in 1873.

Had lived Bull (or Brill Row) Somers Town. Have copy of a letter written in 1851 from William WARREN (engineer at Day and Martins) a brother-in-law. Any possible connections to these families?
