GARDNER marriage St. Anne's Soho 1801
Facts: Samuel Tims GARDNER married Mary Ann DITCHER at St. Anne's Soho on 1st April, 1801. William GARDNER born about 1831/1832 in S.E London. Married Ann BELSHAM at St. Philip Bethnal Green 13th March 1857 Marriage certificate states that William's father was SAMUEL TIMS GARDNER, CUTLER I am trying to prove that the Samuel Tims Gardner married in Soho is either the father of William or possibly a grandfather. I cannot find a baptism for William Gardner in spite of having searched for nearly 20 years. Any suggestions would be most gratefully received, including thoughts on whether a man marrying in1801 is likely to have had a son in1831.
