red mail Ethel Coombs(b.1903) Goldhawk Road 1948
Last time Ethel (Herbert) Coombs was seen by a niece was in 1948 when Aunt Ethel was living on Goldhawk Road, in Shepherds Bush, London. The niece thinks Aunt Ethel was living by herself. Ethel had a very difficult life. I think she might have either married or become the partner of someone later in life, because she was not found in the Death Index under the last name of Coombs or her maiden name of Herbert. She was the step-daughter of Otto Reinke a tailor and the daughter of Florence Eliza Gladwell Herbert. Ethel Maud was born in 1903, but might not have know her age(a LONG story in itself!). Ethel was a small thin woman with blue eyes and glasses, she probably had problems with depression. Her family would love to know what happened to her after 1948. Thank you for any help you can give us.
