Thomas George Lane and family.Thomas may have lived in Ratcliffe with his father George,a licenced victualler,and his mother,Sarah(Brown) up until he married Maria Moss in the 1840's. Both George and Maria had an adult baptism at St.Dunstan's churchin 1852 before emigrating to Australia with their 3 children, Rebecca,Adelaide and George. The address they gave was 53 Gloucester Street, Stepney. Maria's father was also named George and her mother was Rachel Davis.

No mention of John,Hannah and Bridget re 1881 Census. Children of John and Catherine McCarthy-John b 1869 Ratcliff,Mary b 1872 Ratcliff, Cornelius b 1875 married Emma Stockley. Catherine b1878 Ratcliff, Thomas b1880 Ratcliff married Matilda Clark, Joseph b 1884 Ratcliff married Norah(Ann?) Sexton, Bridget b 1886 married John Coughlan, Michael b1889 died 1911, Patrick b 1894 died in WW1. At one time Catherine and John McCarthy were caretakers of St Marys and St Michaels School(Johnson St?) near to St Marys and St Michaels RC Church Commercial Rd. The family also lived in Bere St,Caroline St,Medland St,Cable st and Lucas St. Would like to find more info on the John,Hannah and Bridget Connolly.Also who Mary b 1872 and Catherine b 1787 married. Richard Gallivan was born in Bandon, Cork, Ireland around 1831, his father was Timothy Gallivan. Richard married Ann Garvie and they lived in Ratcliff, Stepney. Richard was in the The work house in St George of the East in 1881 and in 1888 he also died there. Any information on the Richard or Gallivans would be great!

I am seeking more information about Thomas James Monk born about 1832 in Ratcliff, Middlesex. He married Amelia Ward about 1870. They had 2 children Agnes S Monk born 1871 in Harrow, Middlesex and Flora Bertha Monk born 1873 in Mile End, Middlesex. Agnes had one child called Arthur Sydney Monk (or possibly Hedges) born 1893.
