I am looking for any info on Cumine Dunbar who lived in Ponders End with his wife Eileen who he married there in about 1941. They had 3 children, Margaret, Colin, and Katherine. He was born in Elie in Scotland c.1901.

Henry Taylor was born in Cheshunt, Herts. & b. 30 Jun 1816, son of John & Elizabeth Taylor. He married Mary Ann Anderson, widow of James Anderson, (maiden name Yerrall)25 Jul 1842 in London and they settled in Ponders End, Middx where she had been living. They had 4 children - Bethia, Keturah, Rosetta and Henry William. Does anyone have a connection to this family?

Joseph Henry Bosworth was baptised at Ponders End Independent Church on 16 May 1807 at the age of 11. He was born in the Enfield area on 29 March 1796, but I have been unable to find out who his parents were. I should be very grateful for any information about Bosworth families in the Ponders End / Enfield area around 1800. (Subsequently Joseph Henry Bosworth married Phebe Nash and lived in Leyton, Essex. He was a farrier.)

I am researching my Swain family and would be interested to hear from anyone with 'Swain' origins in either Ponders End or Totenham in Middlesex. My Great Great Grandfather James Swain was born in the vilage of Weston in Hertfordshire in 1818 but subsequently moved to Ponders End where he married Sarah Swallow in June 1841. My Great Grandather William Swain (Born Ponders End 1847)and Grandfather William Swain (Born Camden 1867)both lived in Tottenham off Lansdowne Road.
