My Ashby ancestors from 1870's onward lived around this area.Charles Ashby, b. 1844 abt. had a scrap yard, was a rag and metal merchant, as was his cousin(?) Thomas and step son Edward Barnett. I'd like to have more information / stories about the family. Anyone with old photos of these places?.Charles's father was a soldier.

Looking for any information on my Grandfather William John Mitchell, born about 1887, he married at the age of 22, in the district of Willesden, county of Middlesex in 1909 to Beatrice Thitchener. They had four children, Beatrice Elizabeth , George Henry, Charles Edward & William John (my father). At the time of their marriage they were living at 65 Denmark Rd, Kilburn. The last address I have for him in 1916 is 211 Cambridge Rd, Kilburn. Also stated on the certificate is that his father was named Henry and already deceased. I have found a WW1 soldier (who was killed in 1918), with service no 202206 on a Medal Index Card but would like to be sure that he is my Grandfather, if anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Kate Emily Fordham was born in Kilburn in 1848. Parents Walter Fordham and Mary Ann Tucker. Kate was not living with her parents from 1881 onwards and we can't find out what happened to them. Walter was a coachman, possibly to the Gray family at Wembley Park.

I am trying to verify the residence of John Giles Napier my GG/GF and William Thomas Napier my G/GF. The wedding cert for my Great Grandfather (1896) says he resided at 4 Bell Terrace, which I believe was in Kilburn. My Great Great Grandfather was shown as a Master Builder, so any details perhaps on his work or business would also be very good. In fact any information at all would be excellent.
