Searching for a great Aunt Ellen Budd who was born in Hanwell Middlesex in 1877.Ellen lived at the family home at Studley Grange Road Hanwell until she went into service at 14 years old being at the the same residence with her elder sister Mary Ann who also was in service,after 1891 census I cannot seem to trace her anywhere.Would appreciate any information on her whereabouts after the 1891 census. Looking for a proven descendant of Hannah Leggett, whom I believe to have been born in 1848 in Hanwell. I have a set of three Cartes de Visite which I would like to be able to get back to the family. The first is of Hannah Leggett and is inscribed on the back with her name and "Hanwell, Middlesex". The second is of Isaac Leggett, born 1825, almost certainly in Wickham Market, Suffolk. The third is of Isaac Leggett's wife's, Sarah Ann Campbell, headstone.

I am trying to find any information on great uncles of mine Albert Budd & his brother George Budd who both lived at 8 Studley Gardens Hanwell in 1911.Albert was born in 1897 and George was born in 1903 to parents George & Catherine.I do not know if Albert was a casualty of the First World War but would be very grateful of any news on both of them. Thomas Roberts Rouse (my direct ancestor) was the illegitimate child of Sarah Rouse, servant. He was born in 1827 in Hanwell and baptised the following year there. I have TRR's baptism entry and (from Feltham) his marriage and burial entries, but would be grateful to trace any further information concerning his mother and her origins. Could the distinctive 'Roberts' in TRR's name be an indication of the father, perhaps? - thanks.

I am trying to find out some details about the Wheelers who lived, for some time, at Bath Villa in Hanwell, Middx. There were three generations of artists in the family and they had connections to the Hanwell address from 1881 (when John Alfred Wheeler built the villa) until at least 1932, when Alfred Wheeler (Walter's father) died. It is believed that Walter moved to the north-east of England, possibly at the end of the 1st world war but this is unsubstantiated.

Can anyone help me discover anything more about Wiliam CROUCH who married Mary BRIDGE in Hanwell on 17th June 1798. They had at least four children - William b. 24 Feb 1802 (bpt. 13 Nov 1803 St Paul, Hammersmith), Edward b 24 Aug 1805 (bpt. 15 Sept 1805 St Paul, Hammersmith), Henry b. 2 Mar 1808 (bpt. 22 May 1808 St Paul, Hammersmith) and Sarah b 13 Feb 1811 (bpt 10 Mar 1811 St Paul, Hammersmith) - but I am currently unable to discover when and / or where William CROUCH (who married Mary BRIDGE) was born, baptised and / or died. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thomas Redding moved to Graham Gardens (now Framfield Rd, Hanwell) around 1907. Married to (?) who gave birth to my nan (possibly at sea) in 1900 - Gertrude Helena Redding. Who in 1919 married my grandfather, Albert Edwin Frederick Ball (Fred) who was living with his mum at 46 Northfield Rd, West Ealing. The father was John Ball, although he is not mentioned in the 1914 Kelly's directory, (only Mrs Ball as head of house). Mrs Ball was Emily Brown (b. 1869 (Abington oxon.) & m. Oct 1891) At the time of their marriage they were living at 2 Church Lane Ealing. Great grandad's father was also John Ball, who was possibly married to Elizabeth. And there the story goes cold. Amy help would obviously be appreciated.
