Have hit dead end here. Joseph was born B.G. abt1816 & died bet 1861 & 1871, he was a silk weaver by trade. Martha was born B.G. abt 1815. They were married abt1833. Lived it Hare Street & King Street. Had 6 children, Joseph, William, Martha, Elizabeth, John & Samuel. Have them on 1841, 1851, 1861 census but cannot find either of them anywhere else.
My Gt. Grandparents were Frederick ROBINSON and Jane (Busby) ROBINSON. Both are buried in Manor Park Cemetery. Frederick died 08 July 1937, however, I don't have a burial date for him. His grave is #41, Square C; Jane Robinson died 29 January 1906 and is also buried in the same cemetery in grave #665, Square 41. She was buried 05 February 1906. The information comes from burial cards that were handed down to me. Would some kind soul who lives in this area be willing to visit the graves for me and take a picture of each grave? I would be so grateful.

I need help! Trying to find what happened to Elizabeth Nathan b.29.5.1889 who married Frank (Francis)FLOWERS b.1889 on 28.10.1906 in Hackney. Frank returned from fighting overseas in 1915 to discover Elizabeth was pregnant and she was thrown out of the house - banned from ever again seeing her family of 4 young children. She eventually gave birth to a son Sydney FLOWERS b.24.11.1915 but there the story goes cold. A surviving (half) sister would love to know if Sydney is still alive. I would like more information on the Nickolls family of Bethnal Green, c1901. My Grandfather Benjamin Foster Nickolls lived at 125 Columbia Square on the night of the 1901 census, with wife Margaret Alice(?) and sons Benjamin S (4), Edward W (3), Frank B F (2), Albert G F (6 months). F is for Foster in all cases, and I'd especially like to know why that is. The family eventually ran to 13 surviving children, and I have details of just two lines - my father's (Ernest Thomas Foster, born 1909) and his only sister Edith's. I know there are a still a lot of Nickolls around the East End.
My grandmothers only surviving sister- Ivy Gibbins married Frederick Unstead in 1922. We would love to know what happened to her family.

My Great Grandparents JOHN JOSEPH MCDONALD and his wife ELIZABETH lived in Bethnall Green from about 1884-1891. Their children were ELIZABETH,THOMAS JOHN, JOHN HENRY, MARGARET, JOSEPHINE, KATHLEEN, EILEEN and PADDY< I have two addresses in 1884 it was 117, Cambridge Road, and in the 1891 census it was Hollybush Gardens there may have been others in between. If Anybody has any information on the McDonald family or these addresses I would be very grateful. I am trying to find out more about a MAYNARD family living in Bethnal Green from at least 1860. William (b. c. 1832 in Ireland) was a dock labourer, and the son of Robert MAYNARD, a weaver. William married Sarah Ann HIRST (b. c. 1833 in Selby, Yorkshire), a weaver. She was the daughter of Richard HIRST (b. c. 1798 in Mirfield, Yorkshire), a gas fitter. Her mother's name was Charlotte (b. c. 1797 in Newton, Yorkshire) and she had at least 4 brothers: Richard (b c 1826 in Yorkshire), Samuel (b c 1829 in Yorkshire), Frederic (b c 1840 in Yorkshire), Thomas (b. c. 1841 in London) and a sister: Elizabeth (b. c. 1831 in Leeds, Yorkshire). Wm and Sarah were married in 1860 and had at least 5 children: William, Jane, Eliza, Alice and Henry Alfred. They may also have had a son named Thomas. Wm Sr. died between 1874 and 1881. Any information would be much appreciated.

WILLIAM GURNEY, a bricklayer by trade, married ELIZABETH NELSON at St Mary's, Whitechapel on 14 June 1802 - she died in 1803. 0n 18 Sept 1804, William married MARIA BLOSS (born circa 1770 at Great Clacton, Essex)also at St Mary's, Whitechapel. Their children:- were Maria (born 1805) William ( 1808-1863) Mary (born 1811) and James (1813 - 1868). From 1841 census know William was NOT born in Middlesex,and he had a brother named JAmes. 0f their children we know descendants of both William and James, but not of Maria or Mary. He married Susannah Elizabeth Crawley and had ten children. My grandfather was the second youngest. In my father's family, the other siblings had no children. In my immediate family, there were two daughters and one son. My nephew had a son who had a daughter. So our line has run out on the male side. My direct ancestors were Deans and the furthest back Ive gone is 1780s with Richard Dean who lived in Bethnal Green. He was a silk weaver and I really would love to find out more. Still searching for him and his wife Sarah Ann nee Ellis in 1841. All his children were baptised in Lying In Hospital and there are a couple of possible parents on the IGI for Richard. I am looking for a record of the death of my G.Grandmother Emma Rebecca Price, nee NETTLESHIP, born 1850. I was led to believe that she died in childbirth in 1877, or shortly afterwards. My G.Grandfather, George Robert Price (born 1849 or '50) re-married in 1880 to Jane Heed (or HEAD)and his marriage certificate shows him as a widower but searches so far have not revealed any details of Emma's death.

Amelia was also known as Milly when Alfred died she moved to Amelia street and then she moved in with her daughter Ada in Eltham street walworth/newington/southwark. in the 1881 census Alfred and Amelia lived at 81 Lancaster Street and Alfred was a Wood Sawyer. i also have surnames of Morley/ Francis and a few more if anybody knows any more information on these people or has any of theses in their family tree please contact me thankyou.
