red mail Horner family
Seem to have hit a brick wall with my g grandfather his marriage certificate states he is Samuel Horner born around 1853 Middlesex, married Susannah Vizer in 1882 at St Thomas Church Bethnal Green. His father was also Samuel and father and son have occupation listed as hawkers. I am able to trace my g grandfather in the census records from 1881 onwards, but can not find him in any census records prior to that date, and I can not find his birth records. Likewise gg grandfather is proving to be as elusive, I think I have found him in the 1881 census which states he is widowed, living at Great Pearl Street Spitalfields. I also think he may have been born around 1822 in Limehouse and died 1902 Mile End Old Town Infirmary. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions as to where I can gain some more information.
