red mail CARAWY/CARAWAY/ CARROLL/DACEY/DEACEY
Gt grandmother's name on my mothers birth registration from S America states her name is Bridgit or Briget CARAWY? this could have been a translation mistake. Bridget married John DACEY/DEACEY. Possibly born around period 1838 and maybe married around 1860s as my granddad Patrick DACEY was born 1863. Do not know anything else about John and Bridget except possibly word by mouth they came from Swindon, Co Mayo and worked, or ran a farm. He might have owned it? Patrick is down as tenant farmer. He used to take horses to the Argentine, and staying with friend in Bootle met Catherine Sinclair whom he married in 1911, Bootle, then took her to the Argentine. He won or shared the Calcutta sweepstake year unknown cANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION CONCERNING jOHN OR bRIDGET EXCEPT ON MOTHERS CERTIFICATE.
