Looking for more information on Ann Doris O'Brien born c1829 (Kilmore moy, Mayo, Ire), had brother Charles, Married William DAVIS ( soldier recruiter from England) 28 Jan 1845 Turlough Co Clare and then came out to NZ in 1846 with 65th Regiment, 2nd Yorkshire Riding aboard Sir Robert Peel. Ann was widowed in 1859 with 4 young children and then remarried to Octavius Lawes Woodthorpe BOUSFIELD in 1860 and went on to have several more children. Ann BOUSFIELD died 1893 in NZ

Seeking information about the family of William Wallace, born in Ballina in 1885. He was a gamekeeper before joining the 5th Royal Irish Lancers where he served as a shoeing smith. Married Kathleen Guinan from Co Kildare. 1911 Census shows them living in Dublin. After the war, spent time in India and Egypt before settling in Rochdale, Lancashire. Died 25.03.1965 and is interred in Rochdale Cemetery. Children William, Bryan, Kathleen, Lilian and Arthur. Thanks for reading.

I am hoping that someone maybe able to connect to my family line. My gt grandfather John/Sean Corrigan 18/12/1878 -21/01/1955,was married twice . First to a lady called Mary Kilbane 21/05/1879- abt 1908-1911,daughter of Michael Kilbane and Kitty Cooney.Michael and Kitty were both born in Co Mayo. His second wife was Julia Patten 20/08/1888,born in Achill Island,Co Mayo.Her parents were Owen Patten and Martha Gallagher,also both of Co Mayo. John/Sean Corrigan's parents were Honor Patten abt 1856- 11/11/1942, co Mayo and James Corrigan abt 1858.They were married 20/02/1878 in Co Mayo. I have just found out that James Corrigan abt 1858,was the son of Luke Corrigan,who was the son of Donald Corrigan and he was the son of Edward Corrigan. Unfortunately, I do not have spouses or dates for these other connections. If anything rings a bell no matter how small, I would be great to connect this family line to someone.

I am looking for information on my great grandmother who was married to Martin Mark Canavan. I know she was born in the year 1947 and her husband was born in 1941. they lived in workhouse row in Ballina they had 11 children five lived and the rest died.I was informed that my great grandmother's madian name was Fitzgerald and she was the sister of Patrick Fitzgerald from Dunkingstown wexford her name was mary and nickname was maria.I was told by my late mother who passed away last year that my great grandmother was an aunt to the late John F. Looking for any info James Moyles( or Miles) (b. abt 1853 Mayo Ireland) and Mary Devine (b abt 1857 Mayo Ireland and died 15th Nov 1924 in Edinburgh Hosp). (Mary's parents were Patrick Devine and Ellen Brown). James Moyles and Mary moved to Ossett, Yorkshire c. 1900. On the 1901 census their surname is listed as MILES (i think this was a mistake and should have been MOYLES) I they had 7 children as follows (age in 1901 in brackets) (Maria (19), Michael (18), Patrick (14), James (9), Frank (8), Thomas (4) Margaret Ellen - my grandmother (b. 1900). There were also three boarders living with them - Thomas Murty (Age 44 born Mayo), James Murty (Age 17 born Mayo) and Patrick Tomlin (Age 24 born Mayo). The boarders and older male members of family worked as Labourers on the New Railway. Believe James Moyles (head of house) died on a train c. 1901 on way to Scotland Any info welcome.

Hello, My great great grandfather was John Gallagher of Swinford, County Mayo. His son, my great grandfather was Patrick Gallagher, born Mayo approximately 1856/1860. By 1889 he had moved to Garston, Liverpool where he married Mary Wignall. He moved to Salford, Manchester some time before 1901 when my grandfather Christopher was born. John Gallaghers wife "may" have been Bridget Conmee, but not sure of this. Patrick "may" have had an uncle named Joseph and a cousin named Martin who was also living in Garston in 1889 at the time of his marriage.
