red mail Cleary family from Ballinrobe
My mother was born in 1929/30 in Ballinrobe, County Mayo, Ireland. I think I remember my grandparents names were John and Mary. She was one of 12 children, she was one of the younger. She left Ireland at age 15 for London, England. I am trying to find any descendents/relatives of my mother. Some of her sisters names were Maisie, Kathleen (who died at 14 from TB), Rosie (who emigrated to the USA and just recently passed away). She had some brothers who lived in London, or maybe just came to visit. But I cannot find any information of any Cleary's who lived in Ballinrobe. I believe my grandfather came from Achill Island. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As A Pensioner Guard in 1853 William & Family set sail for the Swan River Colony Western Australia accompanied by 3 children Elizabeth 16 Jun1845 (C of I Ballinrobe), Ellen Theresa 1846 and William Thomas 1849) born in Ire/UK. 8 children later born in Perth,W/Aust. The gap between 1850-1853 is unknown location & detail. Spelling varies with Elenor, Ellen' mainly on Aust. records though later in Perth she was the first Matron at the Colonial Hospital Perth in 1861 where "Eleanor Barbara' is used. I have no knowledge of William Thomas's parents or siblings, only St Marylebone from Army Enlistment 1827 in 69th Foot Regiment. Can anyone assist with UK details from their F/tree. In addition i found a Maurice Gloster, Master of Ballinrobe Workhouse m Sarah McCloy, sextoness 4Dec 1859 Ballinrobe. She was a sister of Elenor, they had abt 7 children & remained in Mayo & Sligo, Ireland. I have details if anyone wants them For Maurice & Sarah Elenor/Ellen/Eleanor was my GG Grandmother. I would appreciate links to either William Or Samuel of 12th Lancers. Regrettably his Army records were not located. Maria
