red mail Lawless Fegan Fagan
Looking for information on my great-grandmother, MaryJane Lawless. She married Patrick Fegan in St. Mary's in Dublin in May of 1887. The left for the US shortly after that and ended up in Chicago. Within 10 years of arrival they both passed away and orphaned 3 children. We have copies of letter's of introduction from Rev. Nicolas Healy of Dublin and pictures that were taken at a studio in Drogheda on Lawrence Street. From copies of letters we have it seems that marriage was not approved of by her family and she was disowned. She also had a cousin who was in the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent in Caledonia named Sister Ermatrude. Her Uncle was Rev. F or J Thomas Lawless who was a professor at the College of St. Stanislaus. We think her father's name was Nicholas. Any information on any of the above mentioned people would be most helpful. We only know they were from County Louth near Drogheda in the 1880's. Any information would be helpful.

red mail Reilly
My husband's father, William Reilly was a son of Thomas Stephen Reilly (County Louth) and Catherine Tobin (County Meath). Thomas father was Michael Reilly and his wife was Brigitte Rice. What we know is that Michael had at least three other siblings that left for United States. He was a well known horse trainer. Back in 1975 an uncle of my husband was in Ireland on vacation and ran into a green grocer with the same surname and while talking with each other, they realized that indeed they were related. Alas, this uncle never wrote any information down and did not take any pictures of the place. If any of this sounds familiar, please help me link up the new world with the old. Thank you
red mail James Larkin, Railway Terrace, Drogheda.
I am seeking information re. James Larkin and his wife Margaret Reilly, who were living at Railway Terrace, Drogheda, when they had their daughter Ann Brigid and their son James junior. James jnr. married Margaret Loonam, and lived with his family, including my mother, in Bray Co. Wicklow. He was a railway engine driver, and we believe his father also worked in some capacity for the railway. Margaret Reilly came from America, either as a returned emigrant or as an immigrant to Ireland. Her father according to a family story emigrated from Galway at the time of the great famine to somewhere in America. We don't know if this was to the US or somewhere else, nor if Margaret was born in Ireland or abroad.
