Trying to find any connections with a William Edwin Turner my great great grandfather, who originated from Market Bosworth. We don’t know what his wifes name was. He was a gamekeeper. His son was called Robert Edwin Turner, who married Amy Beeston who lived in Manchester. Roberts brothers and sisters were called Alice Turner, Mary Turner and Robert Turner. Then the family at some time then moved to Sheffield. Roberts children are Hilda Turner, Francis Turner, Reginald Turner, William Turner, Robert Lovett Turner, Charles Frederick Turner and John Lovett Turner who is my grandad and Married Marion Mellor Metcalfe my grandma. We also would like to know where the ‘Lovett’ name comes from. We know there are still a lot of Turners in the Market Bosworth area. Any information would be much appreciated.
