red mail Wakefield, Price and Warren - Hathern
I am looking for any information that will link back my ancestors from about the mid 1800's and before. The names I am currently researching are Joseph Wakefield who married Martha Warren circ. 1870's and Edward Wakefield who married Catherine Price circ. 1850's. All believed to be living in the Hathern area. All working as Framework Knitters in the 1881 Census. Anything about these or any of their predecessors would be gratefully received.
red mail William Harriman
I am researching William Harriman b. 1817 at Hathern and his family, wife, Sarah Catherine Cumberland and their children William Henry b.1841, Thomas, b.1842 and Mary Catherine B. 1844. They migrated to Australia in 1854 but are on the 1841 and 1851 census at Hathern. I can not find information about the Harriman family prior to this couple but can go back several generations on the Cumberland and Braley (Brierley, Brairley) lines. Any help would be appreciated.
