Margaret Campbell on the 1841 census is with John and Esther Campbell in St Helens lancashire i presume she is related to John, In 1843 she has an illegitimate son Henry Campbell in St Helens who dies 1844 The IGI states St Helens but residing in Whiston was she in the Workhouse and what happened to Margaret Campbell . Its possible there are two Margarets as on the igi there are two Henry campbells on the igi 1843 with two differant christening dates

Hi Am looking for information on the Lyon family of Whiston. Family includes Mary Lyon (b c1869) her parents - John Lyon (b c1834) who married Hannah Standish (of Tarbock b c 1834). Looks like some of their children were born before they married :) At this stage I think that John Lyon's parents were James (b c1795) and Margaret (b c1795). He married RUTH (maiden name unknown)and they had children - one of whom was THOMAS ATHERTON c1865 in Pemberton. John HIGGINSON Married Elizabeth WELSBY in 1807 at St Elphin, Warrington. Their children were baptised at St Mary the Virgin, Prescot. John was a bookkeeper and was born in Cuerdley c. 1786. Elizabeth was born c. 1785 in Huyton. By 1825 this family had moved to Newton, near Hyde, Cheshire, where two more children were born. Looking for more information about this family.
