red mail Family of Jabez Green, Ainsdale, Lancashire
My great grandfather, Henry Green, was the brother of Jabez Green, postman of Ainsdale, Lancashire. My great grandfather was born abt 1852 and we have no record of him after the census of 1881. His wife, Margaret Lloyd, was listed as married and head of household in the 1891 census, but Henry does not appear with the family. Would anyone familiar with the family of Jabez Green know what happened to Henry Green? Thank you. Kathleen

Edmund Wright born 1640 North Meols
Can anyone help me sort out Edmund Wright who was born and died in Lancashire having Izabell Wright among his children?. The only Edmund (Edmond?) Wright I can find is the son of Nicholas Wright and Ane Beaupre and he emigrated to, and married in, America. While his forebears add some ilustrious names to my wife's lineage it is unlikely that he was born in North Meols, married a Sarah Wright in New York, and returned to die in Lancashire again! Several family trees I have been able to see accept this, but I hope someone can offer a more rational explanation. My thanks in advance
